ADAM WHARTON: A SUMMER TRANSFER WAS NEVER ON MY MIND

Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton has insisted that he never considered leaving the club during the summer transfer window.

The England international says he deliberately stayed away from transfer discussions and is currently focused on seeing out the remaining three years of his Crystal Palace contract.

“I never really thought about transfers this summer. I stay very far away from it. My agent doesn’t really tell me anything, I don’t want to know anything. I never thought about a different club.”

Wharton appears fully focused on continuing his development at Selhurst Park. Could he remain at Palace for the next three years?
