Barcelona were reportedly only prepared to let left-back Alejandro Balde leave permanently during the summer for a fee of around €40 million.
The Catalan giants were not willing to sanction a loan move, while Manchester United reportedly had doubts over whether Balde was the right long-term option for their left-back position.
With United looking for a solution in that position, was passing on Balde the right decision?
Would you have paid €40M to bring Balde to Old Trafford?
